KSE-100 index loses 56.16 points – Mettis Global Link

Oct 11, 2022 (MLN):  KSE-100 index closed in the pink zone by getting rid of 56.16 points (.13%) to shut at 42,155, just after oscillating among constructive and negative zone.

By the session’s stop, the total volumes of the KSE-100 index stood at 151mn shares, up by 8% from 139mn shares traded in Monday’s session.

In terms of sectors, most of the damaging contributors had been know-how, cement, and oil & gas which negatively contributed 147.68 points. On the flip side, the ability fertilizer sector shut the session favourable, attaining 27.78 details by the day’s close.

Shares of 92 companies had been traded on Tuesday, of which 49 recorded a tumble, 40 registered an increase, while 3 keep on being unchanged.

In the meantime, the volume leaders on the benchmark index have been CYNERGY (34.13mn), PAEL (27.37mn), TRG (14.46mn), LOTCHEM (12.64mn), and UNITY (9.92mn).

The stocks that emerged as web losers for the duration of the day bundled: NESTLE (1.20%), RMPL (.48%), MARI (1.39%), TRG (7.50%), and ATLH (2.02%). On the other hand, the scrips which received the most for the duration of the session included MUREB (6.01%), SRVI (6.27%), ATRL (6.27%), NRL (4.12%), and ABOT (1.29%).
